By using Fermentarium (“the app”) you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it.

The service

Fermentarium is a personal hobby logbook for home fermentation — recipes, batches, measurements, and tastings. It’s offered as-is: a small independent project, not a commercial product or a professional service.

Your account

Registration is currently invite-only. Keep your password safe; you’re responsible for activity under your account. Let us know if you suspect unauthorised access.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you create. By using the app you grant us permission to store and display your content as needed to run the service — including showing recipes, tasting pages, or reviews you choose to make public or share. Don’t upload anything unlawful, infringing, or that isn’t yours to share.

Brewing, safety, and the law — please read

Fermentarium records what you decide to do; it is not professional, safety, medical, or legal advice. Home fermentation carries real risks — contamination, over-pressurised vessels, allergens, and the effects of alcohol. You alone are responsible for working safely and hygienically, for what you make and consume, and for following the laws in your country on producing and consuming alcohol. You must be of legal drinking age where you live. We are not liable for any loss, illness, or damage arising from your brewing or your use of the app.

Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the app — no attempting to break security or rate limits, scraping other people’s data, disrupting the service, or using it to harm others.

Availability and warranty

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t guarantee it will be available, error-free, or that your data will never be lost — keep your own copies of anything important. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our liability is limited.

Changes and ending use

We may update the app or these terms; significant changes will be posted here. You can stop using the app and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
